Your tackle

All over

Do you grab things by the horn and deal with them head on or find it difficult to do that sometimes. Though generally decisive, there are one or two things I need to tackle but seem to constantly postpone for an easier life so to speak. They are not particularly personal stuff either, just will require some difficult conversations. Is it an age thing? Do we find difficult decisions harder to make when a bit older? I hate any kind of confrontation anyway and perhaps is just simply that. I was just wondering how good you are at tackling things.

I am good at tackling somethings and others I put off for ever and a day. I am generally good at taking decisions that involve people and handling conflict but tend to procrastinate on admin stuff.

I think age actually makes taking hard decisions easier because you realise that life (particularly work) often involves having to upset people and you just have more experience of dealing with that.

"Do you grab things by the horn and deal with them head on or find it difficult to do that sometimes."

If head-on resolves well, head-on.

If compassionate subterfuge towards the challenged or dissonant resolves well, then compassionate subterfuge.

But always tackled somehow, directly and potently in that instant, or for 20+ years if that brings better results for more parties.

In other words, every case judged on merit

I'm a combination.

I can and do tackle stuff head on, I'm know for being blunt and straightforward.

However I can also procrastinate at an Olympic level..

Its all about balance, right?
