All over

I bought a sack of carrots from nearby farm the other day as they were dead cheap thinking they will last for ages and good gor carrot cakes etc . Sadly so many have already gone rather floppy. I read you can revive them by dropping them in ice water for 5 to 10 mins. Any thoughts on the best way to get them from floppy to stiff please?

I can't put a whole sack in the fridge. Truth is I should never have hot that many. My fault but thought would be ok in the garage.

Invite a sexy woman over, get her to put each carrot between her boobs and jiggle a bit. Should have them all nice and stiff in no time!

Near Clacton

Carrots and parsnips, yes we got caught out once. Farm market dead cheap sacks of carrots and sacks of parsnips. They were dead cheap because they have already been stored for too long, and those who know buy them for horse feed or other animals, those of us not in the know get stung.

Very true, lesson learned but will try and do stuff tomorrow.
