I tend to think that some films just feel right on a Bank Holiday, do you know what I mean?

Do you have any particular favourites that you like to enjoy on a Bank Holiday?

Watership Down was always a bank holiday film but I think they have decided it is too violent for kids now.

It was too violent for me - I'm still traumatised!

I watched The Bridges of Madison. Ounty a couple of nights ago whilst I binged on some bland Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia

It felt right at the time…

Are you being sarcastic? Have you seen the ending?

Rightly so, that's never a kid's film

Silent Running and The Black Hole also used to be on as kid's Bank Holiday movies but are very dark

Usually get bombarded with religious epics this time of year. Only noticed "The Robe" & "Ben Hur" so far. Need some good, old fashioned Errol Flynn - Robin Hood, The Sea Hawk or Captain Blood.

As a child it was always Back to the Future or Indiana Jones.

Or The Burbs seemed to be on TV too over Bank Holiday. Never is now. Shame because it's actually really very entertaining!

Clint Eastwood, Myrel Streep, a surprisingly good movie which I have watched a couple of times.

Bank Holidays are usually time for epic Charlton Heston type movies or James Bond.

Usually Im gaming on bank holidays but would give it a miss for a bit of Star Trek.
