Just read a report in lequipe

That French and English authorities are in preliminary discussions on building a shared national stadium for both nations in a neutral location.

Seems pointless.

It's also a design nightmare - pitches are usually 4-sided so that each team has 2-sides each for their own supporters.

But this would need 2-sides each for England, France, and neutrals.

You tell me - what does a 6-sided pitch look like, eh?

How about a 8 sided pitch? An Octagon. 4 goals. Have you thought of that?
