Paper Town Central, Essex.

More of a Morecambe and Wise person, but both Ronnie Barker and Eric Morecambe were comic Genius.

Mastermind.

They also did sketches where it was two tramps talking and one of the sketches has a favourite joke of mine.

Tramp 1 says “if I had all the money Rockefeller had Id be richer than Rockefeller”

Tramp 2 goes “how you work that out?”

And tramp 1 replies “ I’d do a bit of window cleaning on the side”

Murder is Served - a Hercule Poirot send up with Patricia Routledge. It's exquisitely done, to the point where you can almost believe its an Albert Finney Poirot film.

Off the back of this thread, I've just watched the Ministry of Sex Equality sketch presented by Ronnie Barker half in drag or, as he says, Mr/Mrs Barker - although I wouldn't advise you to try it *

*works better spoken obviously

Is that the one where he says "in the future people will be referred to as them or they?". Quite spooky as it was filmed so long ago.

Can't remember if that line is in it specifically but there were definite echoes of current debate around gender
