 They’re making good money for decent ones nowadays. Replaced it with a Merc SLK230. Another possible classic in the making. Fun, but not nearly as much fun as the TF. | |||

Had many over the years, mostly yanks. Trans Ams, Bronco (OJ shape that was star car on a Sky tv show) and we now have an 80s Gvan that we restored through covid. "We both are into our cars and do love our classics. Don't have anything that classes as a proper classic just now but once we have moved and know what space we have we will find something. We do have the pair of alfas ( 916 gtv and spider on a p and r reg) Do they break down a lot? I brought one not running . The other is off the road as its a cabriolet
Most of my alfas have been great.
Never owned an Alfa but would love a GTV6 or anything with that Busso in it. The v6 cars are devine
They really are.
Even the FWD 156s are very tempting. I have had a 156 v6. Loved it. X
I just love the sound of that V6. Nothing quite like it.
Except a V8
The Busso V6 wails like no V8 can.
I do like a good V8 (got to be a cross plane engine though - flat plane V8s never sound nice). Straight 8 is even better "you sound like me. I so have a whole love affair going on with alfa v6's though. Trying very hard to get Mr to try an alfa as he's never driven one.. but is struggling with his height x | |||

I’d upgrade the suspension and brakes and make it breathe a bit better but I’d keep it looking standard. Any of the others I’d want to change all sorts. | |||

"I Deliver car parts for a living so get to see some really nice motors from time to time I spotted an immaculate Brookland capri today being woken up from its winter hibernation personally I'm a fan of saab and jaguars " snap deliver for a motorfactors see loads of realy nice old cars in for service etc some coming out of hibernation at this time of year . Also most garages have an old mk3/4 esc0rt at the back under "restoration" that never seem to progress .beautifull pale blue Rolls corniche just finished a resto at one of my drops | |||

"Don't have 1 but would love to have a TVR Tuscan S! "I’ve had a Tuscan great car and incredibly fun to drive (reliability was an issue but nothing like the wedges) servicing was reasonable and unlike the Huracan the vast majority you can reasonably well do yourself. Still my favourite classics are Land Rovers and Mid era Volkswagens. | |||
