"Diabetes, hypertension and heart disease is not sexy! How is that related to someones size? " My dad is average weight, doesn't drink, smoke or eat fatty foods and he's got high blood pressure. And no it doesn't run in the family either. My mum is a bigger lady and has no problems at all.

"Diabetes, hypertension and heart disease is not sexy! How is that related to someones size? Obesity is a predisposing factor for all three. Thought everybody knew that..." Ah I see. Sorry I didn't realise 'curves' mean obese - I had in mind an ample, possibly 'hourglass' kind of figure, that's what curvy suggests to me.

"Diabetes, hypertension and heart disease is not sexy! How is that related to someones size? Obesity is a predisposing factor for all three. Thought everybody knew that... so is a slim person with any or all three of those conditions sexy or not?" That is not the point, the OP was implying that it is better to be curvy than slim. I was simply making the point that being overweight is usually associated with disease and in my opinion I don't find that sexy.
