Technically I didn’t buy it and it’s an EP not album. But. One of my favourite bands is a teeny tiny Scottish band called Crash my model car, who a friend came across at the fringe.

I saw them supporting the Thrills and have their first album on CD. But as is the way with cd’s it’s largely scratched and unplayable after many years enjoyment.

I tracked the lead singer down and asked if he could help me find a copy… he couldn’t but he did send me 2 EP’s instead, was well chuffed, got some of my original favourites and some new ones! 3 (the stuff they have on Spotify isn’t the same)
