So in this brilliant song by Paul Heaton (Beautiful South) he names the following 12 women - one of which was a friend of mine who claimed to be the actual person it was written about.

Shirley, Julie, Cathy, Deborah, Julie, Jane, Jennifer, Alison, Phillipa, Sue, Deborah, Annabel.

Got me thinking - by pure coincidence I've have 4½ 'exes/significant others' who had exactly the same names. I'm claiming ½ for first gf.

Any other fabbers, of a certain age, heard that song and thought similar? If so how many?

Loving you all ... From the bottom of my pencil case

I think I'm lacking in that department !

My answer to your question is zero although I had a one night stand with a Julia if that counts and I frequently watched my partner have anal with Julie.

Love this song but I’ve never dated any of the names in this song equally as odd as having the majority as exes don’t ya think x

Not many. Most of those names were of their time popularitywise. No Kylies, Britneys and the huge variation of names after the 80's.

Interestingly I duplicates some names on the list ... He names 10
