Manchester-ish

I was pondering on my favourite LR Knost quote: "It's not our job to toughen our children up to face a cruel and heartless world. It's our job to raise children who will make the world a little less cruel and heartless."

And also fish or pudding for my chippy tea.

Whether if I embarked on a liaison with a lady on here that had a fetish for married men without their wife's knowledge, and I pretended to be married, even though I'm not, would be immoral.

Would the 2 deceptions cancel each other out.

I was with my 6 week old granddaughter today and I worry what world she will inherit. And I’m a generally positive person! Gulp!!!

Is satisfaction with achievement really happiness? Even if that achievement is really meaningful to you? And if it isn't, does that matter?

I think that a lot of days, but I also thought about it today.

I was thinking how easy it was to keep my son safe and happy when he was little. I could pull a silly face to make him hoot with laughter, scoop him up in my arms to make him feel secure and cherished, hold his hand as he explored the world and fed that unquenchable curiosity of his. Now I look at him helplessly as he struggles with his mental health and there isn't a thing I can do to make it better.

My Dad obsessively charges his phone. He was upset yesterday because one of my brothers daughters was charging an iPad and he "needed" to charge his phone. It had 70% battery.
