Reports that in some parts of Spain, the country that is part of continental Europe an made the afternoon siesta famous, can legally charge more in bars and restaurants where seats and tables are in the shade. They must inform customers but likely that signs will be in Spanish and other European Languages. Probably not English after England is no longer part of Europe. Be on your guard on your holidays this years guys?

It’s an interesting place at the moment Spain and their islands. Seems to be a lot of animosity directed at tourists. Ironic really, considering that tourism is such a massive industry for them.

The Canary island locals are kicking off about English tourists according to reports.

They are fed up with the so called boozy English causing havoc over there. Tom has not been mainly because of the foreign food. Tom prefers fish and chips and pie, mash and gravy so not going there to starve for a week. Nothing against those local people but Tom prefers the culture of English food. He likes his potatoes pasta and roast and the odd chicken curry

Tom sounds like a real Bell End and should probably go to holiday in Blackpool and leave travel to people who want to respect and learn new cultures and experiences…,

Sounds like an ex pat screaming that this isn’t what he expected for voting tory and brexit….get in the bin mate.

My late Tory/Brexit-voting auntie-in-law, bless her, used to say when presented with any non-British cuisine:

“I like things with gravy”

The Great British tourist is something else. Sometimes they beat Americans. And that is saying something.

Why do people look down on the British seaside. ? Tom likes Skegness and Blackpool...

At least you know what you are going to get. If it's wet then there are plenty of arcades to play the fruit machines and good grub at Wetherspoons and decent beer and not overpriced like you pay for abroad

I can get a good quality Menu del Dia for 10 or 12 euros. 4 courses of good food with a drink included and a coffee at the end. Can’t get that in Wetherspoons.

Hope you've had your jabs Tom. More dirty needles on Blackpool beach than you've had pukka pies in Spoons
