Reports that three cats were found in a taped up crisp box in Gillingham and rescued by bystanders. Crisp boxes usually hold 48 packets which will give the reader an idea of the size of the box. The cats have now been looked after but what could the motive be here ? It's all over the news

Did the cats survive by eating 48 packets of crisps between them Tom?

Reminds me of an old execution method I once heard about, where the condemned man was put in a bag with a monkey and thrown into a lake.

The last thing the man would experience before drowning was the monkey beating the shit out of him.

I believe this was practiced in the Middle East or India?

If it was a cardboard box I can’t see why the cats couldn’t have got out. We had a cat and the claws on him would of made short work of crisp box.
