under the sun & the moon

If I'm not mistaken, I think smell and taste are connected..if one is affected I think the other is also reduced.

I'd probably choose those 2 to give up.

I realised how important touch was after 2nd spine surgery.

Was on crutches for 6 months because I literally couldn't feel when my leg was touching the ground..

I am actually part homing pigeon and have the ability to sense the earths magnetic field. I would probably give that up now we have GPS and decent maps on our phones.

Definitely smell I was cursed with a very sensitive nose combined with hatred for bad smells and any bad smell I notice well before anyone else and I ducking hate it feels like some kind of punishment so definitely smell I wouldn’t miss

There’s actually more than 5 but if I had to lose one it would be taste if I can keep smell I’d barely miss it

I know there are more subtle ones but I can't remember which they are exactly (one tracks your body in motion or something like that), so stick with the big five.

Carlisle usually

Probably taste.

The aren't any tastes that bring me particular joy. But there are scents. And there's a lot of joy in the other senses too.

There's so many more than 5. Not sure what the obsession with these 5 is (I know that's what is taught in schools), but really it's very limiting to our understanding of how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

QI did a whole thing on all the other senses. I can remember sense of space, orientation, heat, air pressure and lots more. Was it 27 senses in total according to Sandi?

More even... equilibrium, direction; you could include sense of morality, wellbeing, responsibility, pride and whatnot. Then there's lots but I guess they get categorised in broader lexical fields.
