His wealth came from gold and salt.

This may sound like a bit of a rant, but here goes.

Why is it so many people say if I was rich or I want to be rich but do nothing about it or think the lottery is the answer?

It is possible, it won't happen over night, just little things you can do, it may take 30 or 40 years but it is down to you making the effort.

Cut back, invest, when you make a bit of money don't be too quick to spend it on the latest phone or a newer car, it's all bullshit you can live without.

A lot of you are luckier than me as the Internet wasn't around to point me in the right direction n offer info n talk to others for advise.

It's not easy, you will need to put yourself out for a few years at start by maybe doing a lot of overtime or take a 2nd job n taking on working for others doing DIY for them.

But if you put the effort in you can like me retire at 52, house paid for, nothing on finance with an income from 2 rental houses plus a few other things.

But you need to pull your finger out n stop wishing your life away.

I will leave this now n I bet all I get is slagged off, but that's fine, easily to dismiss someone or something than to put effort in to doing something.

But for those who are trying good luck, even if you don't make it to being a multi millionaire you will improve your standard of life.
