Brighton - even Hove!

Butter and no jam or jam and no butter. Don't like them together.

Black Country

Jam on its own for m, ans as thickly spread as I can. If I can see the part of the bread I've not put enough n..

So what is you top jam?

Strawberry for me is a fav, but I alo love apricot.

The cyder farm down Cornwall has some wonderful flavours of jam, I love popping along for the free tasting, when I that part of the world.

I used to love Mixed fruit jam, but now im just a fan of seedless raspberry.

Cant stand bits in my food (seeds in jam, or pieces of fruit in yoghurts etc) I might start experimenting with jams as you can buy the small pots from Morrisons

I do prefer them with out bits in, main reason why I was never keen on marmalade.

I do also like golden syrup on my toast. When I was a kid. I used to eat that stuff strait front the tin, sticking a knife in and twirling it for ages until it broke free

When I have more than just butter on toast, I would put the butter and whatever on the toast and mix roughly before spreading it over the toast.

Never put butter on before jam, one or the other. Either lashings of butter or lashings of jam. Never both
