Going on a long journey, what snacks and provisions are you getting in.

My nan’s spare room.

Whenever I’m off on a journey there’s certain provisions I can’t be without.

Chicken and bacon sandwich.

Big bag of crisps, normally sea salt and Chardonnay vinegar flavour but not exclusively.

Big twix bar.

Flask of tea.

Packet of wine gums or sports mixtures.

Two cans of Vimto.

I could circumnavigate the Pacific with that pack up.

What’s your standard must haves.

"Big twix bar."

I get slated in work by my colleagues for enjoying a Twix. It’s so nice to see someone else with good taste.

A den in the Glen

Midget gems

Red Bull

Chewing gum

After 10 miles, once they're gone I stop at the next service station, buy more and get a neck cushion and umbrella too.

When I have to drive up to Manchester I buy a bottle of ribena, bag of malteasers and a packet of crisps.

I’ll either get a meal at the cafe before I leave or stop at maccies on the way.

There’s always a bottle of water in the car as well.

Any talk of jägerbombs when I’m out, that’s my cue to leave. The hangovers are unreal

Ice cold sparkling water, grapes and Percy Pigs. And a pumpkin spice latte (when the season graces us with their presence once more).
