When is a couple not a couple?

I got a message from a “bi couple” saying the male half wanted his first bi experience to be alone with me. There’s only a pic of the female half on their profile.

I replied suggesting we get together for a social. “They” replied that the social should be me and the male, to “avoid any awkwardness”.

This started to ring bells for me.

So my question is, how many ostensibly bi couples on here are actually single men looking to hook up with other men. Seems a strange way of behaving if you’re looking for a MM experience.

Any thoughts?

I think there's lots of couples here that are actually single men.

It would raise a red flag with me too op that the woman wouldn't accompany him to a social, wouldn't she still be there in some capacity?.

Surely if it's just mm play, there's no need for a couple profile.

If she deflates when you put a pin in her, it's not a couple.

There are a few blokes pretending to be couples but like you just have found they'll soon become apparent.

If there's no evidence of one or both of the couple participating, they're not a couple

Many couples meet alone though.

But yep. If they refused a social together my alarm bells would be ringing and I'd be seeing a red flag in my head instantly.

I'd just respond with 'happy to meet you both for a coffee so she knows you're not meeting a serial killer'.

Its no different to me than a couple where the husband wants his wife to meet a man alone. I'd still want to meet him, to ensure everyone is happy and on board.

Its only me on the forum (well MrAbz posted once and got us on the naughty step - I absolutely agreed with what he said though) and there is no way I am making a singles account just to post my drivel online

Yes. I'm happy to meet one half of a couple, but I also want to know they both exist and are on board.
