Commisserations Mr.P. I've had one since last week and it sucks.

I recommend orange juice, ibuprofen and bed rest. Not that I've taken my own advice this time - too much work to do. At least I'm working from home.

I hate colds, the only thing I know is going to bed for 24-36 hours, solid rest, Literally only getting up to pee, Constantly drinking fluids, taking paracetamol, sleeping, munching on fresh fruit…. It really works.

I had to succumb to the dreaded taking time off!! Thought I'd be fine after the weekend. Nope!

I rest, drink Lucozade and take paracetamol for the headache.

I feel you Pickles! I'm currently laying on the sofa, under a fluffy blanket, hot water bottle on my back and Tangled on the tv. My throat is sore, my body hurts and my head is now foggy instead of banging thanks to lots of painkillers
