Is against the law as a young man found in London and was handed a fixed penalty by community support officers. Does the punishment fit the crime? It's all over the news.

I think the law is opposite to the magic mushroom law (as I understood it in the 1980s anyway).

Ergo:

To prepare magic mushrooms was illegal, but to eat them fresh wasn't.

With bogie-flicking, a raw, unprepared bogie is illegal to flick.

But prepared ones aren't.

So if you roll them around in your mouth first, maybe mix with a bit of earwax, then that's legal.

Well...if it isn't, it should be.

Anything else just isn't English Tom!

Magic mushrooms were made a Class A controlled drug in 2005. The only possible twist is that you can posses the ungerminated spores as they don't contain the psychoactive substance.
