But actually need it?

Used to be daily but as I've got older I can survive on once a week now two weeks at a push after that I turn into a mentalist.

It depends on my pain and other shite. We've gone weeks without it sometimes and that's fine. Other times we do it once a day or more. I don't remember feeling like I'm lacking sex at any time really. Any "dry" spells have been due to health and so then I don't need or want it anyway.

It’s hard to say when you are single. You become very aware you never ‘need’ sex.

Like you said, I want it. I’m a sexy guy, with a high sex drive. So it would be daily when I would want it.… so at least 14 times a week.

I've never needed sex at any time in my life.

I went through the entirety of my 40s without having sex or any sexual contact at all so a matter of weeks, months or even a few years now is nothing really.

I don't think about or want sex all the time. I would actually find that really sad if my life revolved around sex.

I enjoy sex in the moment but I don't go looking for my next fix as soon as it's over.

If it happens well and good. If not then c'est la vie and I'm good with that too.

My outlook has nothing to do with my age either because I've always had the same approach to sex.

Hmm. I definitely get edgy if I go long periods without physical intimacy, which in the past have done for periods of more than a couple of years. I can get by without for shorter periods of celibacy if I have to but I don't want to have to go that long again.
