Sometimes.

I like those who are. That doesn't mean they have to Meli waffle. More... communicate clearly.

My friends from here are generally quite good at it.

On fab? Not all the time. Away from fab though, yes. The people I’ve built friendships with are very good communicators that’s why friendships have been built.

Most people are very poor communicators. Not many people say what they mean and I find that very hard to negotiate sometimes. I have learned over the years that when people say "let's keep in touch" as they exit their leaving do they don't really mean it though

Yes. But only on topics they want to discuss with you, else their lips tighten up quicker, than Rex's choccy starfish when it's faced with a strap on, when you try to change the subject...

I know lots of people on fab who have lots to say while actually saying nothing at all.

An ability to tell us so much about themselves while not giving a fuck about what anyone else has to say so that isn't communication.

To communicate properly you have to listen twice as much as you speak because giving answers to questions that aren't asked is just a waste of everyone's time.

I think many are but unfortunately some definitely are not. I hate the use of text language in messages as this can be off putting to me as it demonstrates a level of immaturity but to be fair maybe I am just old fashioned in this way.

Maybe it's also because messages are one dimensional and sentiment or emotion cannot be clearly explained thus potentially misinterpreted or a combination of all the above.

It's difficult to get any communication going, as most ladies are flooded with messages and the next shiny thing comes along

All the friends I have are good communicators. I think I would struggle to connect if we couldn’t communicate well.

Granted, we have lives outside of here but I’ll always make an effort to reply quickly or I’ll explain as to why I’m not online

It's not so much about being poor communicators, as the limits of the internet, which since it's inception has increasingly taken the place of active, face to face socialising.

I've seen numerous articles and podcasts saying that this has only increased dramatically since the lockdowns.

Most of my Fab adjacent conversations at the moment are about DIY

And no, not the electricals near genitals type of DIY, the electricals nowhere near genitals or else hospital type of DIY

Some are. Genuinely depends what you're looking for. In our experience we've had some lovely chats with lovely people who aren't pushy or desperate, and then others who simply just want to get their cock wet asap and don't want to at least attempt to "use the charm" per se.

I find chatting to guys is mainly about sex and the few chats Ive had with females have either been mainly pleasant and non sexual or very short and abrupt.
