What things never got developed, perhaps because they were deemed too immoral, or health and safety had gone mad?

Gobstoppers that were penis shaped. I never found any

I used to work in a boots developing lab. Seen some very hot pics in my time. But we have to give the negatives back to the customers stating that we can not process them due to there x-rated concept. But we would have a good look first. Lol
