A Secret Hideaway In the caravan of love

For some reason we have been bloody freezing this year, so it has been on more than normal. My bill is going to be horrendous.

The air con in the bedroom is off when I am at work, however, the one downstairs is on all the time, so the hot air can rise and keep the bedroom warm.

Radiator in the bathroom is on low to help drying the towel.

Instead of heating up the bathroom floor for the morning shower, I wear Crocs so that my feet do not touch the cold floor tiles. This is what I do when I go camping in the winter, so I thought I might as well save some pennies and do that at home.

No heating in the spare room or the kitchen, and I have not turned on the under-floor heating downstairs.

When I say the heating is on, the thermostats are set at 17 or 18 deg C, as I don't like it too warm.

I expect to get a good rebate for my energy bills in Jun 2013, can't wait!

"For some reason we have been bloody freezing this year, so it has been on more than normal. My bill is going to be horrendous. "

The question should be how often do you have your central heating off: not a day this year.

Told my girls they'll have to donate a kidney each...they think I'm joking!

How often do you turn it off is a more appropriate question right now. EON are doing the Carlton dance.

About 40 mins first thing in the morning and 3 hours each evening.

Very old stone cottage with huge thick walls so it never really warms up, but never too cold either.

Not often I can't afford it lol.

Only turn it on if I am expecting visitors. I am quite happy to sit in my sleeping bag, but it's a bit much to ask them to bring their's hehehehehehehe

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Every day for four hours in the evening. It will go off on April 1st, regardless of the weather, and not go back on until 1st November. People hate visiting.

Hull

The central heating and Hot water system packed up on Tuesday of this week. Our Maintenance dept got around to looking at it on Thursday but could do nothing.

The heating contractors got in today; it can't be fixed until at least Tuesday!

We've been supplied with portable radiators in our rooms, but we've no hot water for washing etc! What fun, over this ruddy cold weekend!

Come to think of it - both

Although some visitors are welcome of course
