My grandmother on my dads side was Spanish but unfortunately it was never passed down, my dads sister spoke fluent Spanish but he and his brother could barely speak a word of it despite his mother not being able to speak any English so really we should all have knew it haha

I think there is likely to be a better chance of needing to use it here than French or Spanish.

I appreciate the world is a big place and other languages are widely used but a basic knowledge of bsl would definitely be useful x
