Following on from Nora the explorer's thread 'Fabladies', there does not appear to be any other site available for bi/gay women to meet other than on dating sites.

Nora and I have been chatting about this issue and we thought it would be a good idea to set up another thread to see how many bi/gay women there are on Fab who would like to meet at a social event in the South East area and seeing how things go from there.

MODS- this thread is not arranging a social, it is looking to see if this idea could work, so pretty please do not move this thread from The Lounge chat

If we have a good response, then another thread will be set up in the social/events section to try and sort the finer details of date/location etc...

Absolutely! It would be just a social. I think because we were discussing a site like this for ladies and then came up with this we were thinking bi ladies. But of course you’d be welcome

The rooms are on site, so no worry about travel to/from hotels. If you go on the website there's plenty of info.

There's also a shiny new spa facility that you can private hire in the day too.

Last time I looked at heading to Swindon (last July, but got cancelled due to my change in circumstances) there was definitely a ladies only night on the site events page.

Maybe attendance numbers weren't sufficient to continue?

This has been talked about for years and I know various ladies have tried to organise but it never successfully happens.

I would love to attend but the South East is too far away. Need a North and South one.

Having been to this I can say this event is absolutely fantastic and the people who attend are welcoming and friendly.
