Due to a lack of useable cacao beans there’s a shortage of chocolate increasing Easter egg prices to approx 60% more than 2023

Does this bother you? Will it make you choose some alternative for young kings or yourself

Doesn't bother me in the least. I don't have easter eggs and my grandchildren get far to many so I will give them money to go to the toy shop

Good shout and I’ve always given my kids cash to get something they want rather than chocolate/sweets

Neither of us are mad chocolate fans and don't go too mad with the eggs for kids. We geberal tell peopel not to get eggs and give somthing else or money if at all.

We imagine its going to affect the farmers more than us.

I decided not to buy my 2 grandbabies an Easter egg this year cos they’re not even 2 and I thought they’d probs not need one.

So what could have cost me a couple of quid each then ended up costing me about £70 each to make up a little Easter basket for them lol
