Level of fitness doesn't come into it. My ideal body is the opposite of mine - gym fit, ripped & tall.

However, in practice, I've had lots of fun this & many other body types as if I like the person, then their body is automatically attractive to me.

I only draw the line at exceptionally slim or obese.

I'll be honest and have wondered why an athletic or slim guy would be interested in a chubster like me, but then I remember that my (very slim) husband probably wouldn't have stuck around for 20yrs, through thick, thin and disability, if he didn't REALLY love me. So nowadays, I try not to think like that.

I think growing up in the 80s and 90s, you were made to feel like being a fat woman was immediately unattractive and against societal norms of beauty. Just looking at the magazines that sat in waiting rooms told us that - any female celebrity who had apparently gained a pound was scrutinised and criticised at all angles. It's hard not to internalise that.

But the fact remains that it’s different strokes for different folks! A lot of ripped guys are attracted to curvier/bigger women (I love this for me!) and still it baffles me!! And vice versa! We like what we like…sad that there is so much stigma around it!

My partner is in the forces, he is in excellent shape and when we train together (daily!) the assumption from most is that he must be my pt!

Why is it not PC to not be attracted to someone? There is nothing at all wrong with politely declining someone’s interest if they aren’t for you! Psychologically women see sex differently to men. Tbf though it’s a hard thing for people to answer honestly without painting themselves in a bad way even though it’s a perfectly normal. Everyone will say it personality and character over looks but I can tell you hands down and cards on the table, the numerous number of people that rejected me didn’t try or invest any time or give one bit of interest in investing in getting to know me as a person or if we vibed and that Kwl. I get that, there wasn’t a physical attraction, so let’s be honest about it. I know a guy like me isn’t going to be on most sexist men alive, woman you must get the same so let’s be honest about it?! I know the rare few that did invest a bit of time getting to know me came away with a positive experience but that’s rare. It more swipe left or right, hot,

Physical attributes guy wise they have to be attractive facially to me and tall. My preference is 6'3 and above. I will settle for 6ft if I like someone and they aren't really 5'9.

So body shape and/or fitness don't come into it for me.

But everyone has their own preferences, turn ons and icks.we aren't suitable for everyone.

Not an issue, but certainly don't interact with some profiles if I feel I'd be punching. Just wouldn't feel comfortable enough to enjoy the sex if self conscious.

I generally connect if they can hold a decent conversation, intrigue me or make me laugh. physical characteristics don't come into it apart from hygiene.
