One of his videos popped up on my Twitter feed of him dismantling a chimney stack brick by brick with zero safety measures. I was gripped.

I assume that they have an addiction to the adrenaline etc, that they get from doing dangerous activities. I admire them, in some respects. They may not have the same fear responses that most of us do, some of it geared by conditioning.

I'm assuming that few or none are mentally unhealthy.

I was very lucky to have known him when I was younger through my family. He was such a clever man and my hero.

He was a legend I love watching his old series.

Absolutely fearless but he had respect and experience and knowledge passed down.

All those years living dangerously and he died of cancer!
