Boffins from the University of Bristol, the only town where statue abuse is legal, claim that putting non alcoholic beers on draft encourages healthy choices. Well Tom has news for them. They tried this and after one pint of Swan L A you will never have another. It was disgusting. These science types get Tom's Goat

Peroni 0% and Punk AF are nice.

Heineken 0.0 is fine. I'm surprised it's not on draught in a lot of places.

Becks Blue is absolutely vile

I’ve tried quite a few alcohol free beers and ciders they are never going to taste the same as proper beers so can’t really compare them I can’t drink the mainstream ones like A/free Guinness peroni etc because I have to drink gluten free, the drop bear beer company do several A/F beers their bonfire stout is really quite nice, 2 breweries in Bristol do A/free beers, there’s Bristol beer factory with “clear head” and Arbor with “wish you were beer “

Near Abercynon

I know so many people who don't really like beer and only drink it to get a bit d*unk.

I'm not one of those people, I really enjoy it, so if I'm not drinking alcohol I'll seek out a decent alcohol free alternative.

St Peter's Without is pretty nice.

Well it is actually available in 2 places on tap, the Skybar at Guinness Brewery Dublin and Twickenham stadium.

It is very hard to do AF beers on tap as the lack of alcohol means it will freeze in the super chilled lines and keg storage.

However if you run it through in one go with the Surger for the Nitro cans it makes it very passable indeed and quite a few pubs that sell it in cans will use one to pour it.

(Source for both these is a senior regional manager for a well known, non cutlery named, pub chain).

Though remember drinking bad alcohol free beer is like licking your sister out, tastes thr same but somehow feels wrong.

I almost never drink alcohol but, the idea of alcohol free beer to me seems like a theme park without the rides.

Nope, no, definitely not! Whats the point of going to the pub to drink a fizzy "beer-alike"?

If your not drinking why drink a non-alcoholic beer that tastes like shit I'd rather have a that's been to diluted with ice and polluted with a lemon slice
