Bedford (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

...what you know now, would it have changed anything?

Either hindsight, or maturity, but would you really change something from your past?

Abso-flickin-lutely!! I always used to say no because otherwise I wouldn’t be where I am now. And I’m fairly happy now. But I’ve lived through some shit and made some mistakes (call it life) which I’d gladly swap out.

Thing is, if I’m someone who regularly makes such mistakes, what’s to say I won’t make a whole load more anyway.

Yes. I’d have chosen a university in a city. And I would have been clearer about boundaries with people at a social.

Honestly - no.

When you start to change things in the past then you are no longer who you currently are. I can live with who I am now - hence no.

Yes. There are some people I would not have met, and some I would have walked away from sooner.

Professionally, I wish I had learned tact a little sooner, but I never shied away from telling anyone to go fuck themselves.. even to the detriment of my career.

The last year of my gramps life I spent a lot of time moping about after a fella I’d had a dalliance with but it was very on/off drama, drama, drama.

If I could, I’d not get involved with him so I could be really present emotionally to enjoy my last year with my gramp. I was there in body, but sometimes I spent a lot of time in my head worrying over the bozo I was dating. And he really wasn’t worth it.

So that.

I’d have had more confidence in who I was earlier in life and given less of a shit what people and society thought about things.

Oh and I’d have put money aside for a deposit on a house way earlier

In my head, sure I’d have not got involved with some people or I’d have handled things differently or ended them sooner but…

…ultimately in reality, no.

No matter how hard things might’ve been at times, it shaped me into who I am now and allowed me to meet the incredible people I now have have in my life because of the choices I made at the times I made them.

No life is what we make it

We all mistakes

But it’s part of who we are and what we are

If I could change one thing wish I didn’t start smoking at very young age

Making steps to rectify this

This month

I’d change a lot of things made loads of mistakes lots of regrets

My main change is like is impossible as would be without my kids, if it was possible to keep my kids exactly the same but change who they with I’d do it in a heartbeat

Other things I wish I’d spent more time with my dad after his cancer diagnosis he was the strongest person I’ll ever know and I convinced myself he would fight it for years but he died within 5 eeeks of diagnosis

Other less serious changes but a house before they shot up, give 18 year old me my mindset I have now towards acquiring wealth and setting self up for easier later life

Do you mean your biological clock or do lesbians just have more lie-ins?

I was very reserved and timid until late 20s/early 30s

Change soo many things.

Prevent myself from getting a lifelong injury,

Enjoying dressing up as Rachel, back when I had the figure to pull off some nice outfits.

Not sure about this one, but prevent myself from getting testicular cancer, I am sure if was due to blunt force trauma caused by my hitting a car whilst riding a motorbike.
