Filter, preferably v60.

Drink a glass of milk afterwards if you want.

Don’t mind what coffee, usually I’m a filter or americano man. But if your favorite coffee shop is somewhere like Costa, Cafe Nero or Starbucks I’ll have to block you that’s not coffee, it’s ashtray juice mixed with mud water.

Americano. Have the milk on the side warmed, you get the amount of milk you want and it won't cool your coffee down

Yes otherwise would be like that weak filter stuff they used to serve from the jug that was sitting there all day. Yuk

Oh god!

I drink one caffeinated coffee a day, I look forward to it and often go home for it rather than drink it out because a decent cup is so difficult to find.

Filter is better than espresso, imo. But yeh, people are put off by "diner coffee", which has sat on a heating mat in the open for hours. This destroys the coffee, leaving behind only coal and tears.

Go ask for a filter at your local speciality coffee shop. They'll either make one for you (which can be rather expensive, not gonna lie) or they'll give you some from a thermos jug. It'll be lovely.
