I am in charge of the meal this year so no drinking altho I will have plenty of strong coffee to keep me awake til New Years Day cos my kids dont sleep for about 9 days after Christmas

Now all I need is a nice strong man help in the kitchen since I have given mine the day off

why spoil a good spirit? whiskey, gin, vodka (yuk) should be d*unk neat and if you spoil port with lemonade you should be hung drawn and quartered!

definitely a Christmas tradition to start on the sherry around 10am...then leave half the Christmas dinner in the oven cos you're in a haze by dinner time!!

In my cupboard at the moment are bottles on rioja, shiraz, Baileys, vodka, brandy, Southern Comfort, plus in the fridge champagne, pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc. I dont intend drinking them all at once but I'm sure I'll sample most of them over the next two weeks!
