Is it one of those annoying multiple choice ones phone lines?

Sort of: ‘If your cranium is presently still attached to your neck, please press 1…’ sort of thing?

I used the web site ...... a long list of body parts to choose from including your 'top' or your 'bottom' ......

Then a long list of conditions for the top or the bottom .... and MINE wasn't there

God I hate 111. I ended up phoning them last week for my son. Half an hour on the phone and all I got was "stay home and keep an eye on the symptoms". Later that night, after 6 hours in the walk in centre, the doctor told my husband off for not getting him seen sooner.

I find 111 a complete waste of time.

I was on the phone for over an hour yesterday before I gave up.

I haven’t been feeling great either. Usually i’d just take some pain killers and push through but I felt horrible. I wasn’t successful in getting a doctors appointment this morning either. It’s awful.

I've had two anadin and an apple ..... there were no bananas.

Now im going for fresh air.

If I don't come back , keep a note of all the streets I went down , come find me and turn me around in a homeward direction .

I have used the 111 recently once you get pass the questions they are really helpful. I got a paramedic on my doorstop in an hour and saw my partner and called an ambulance which arrived in less than half hour

Used them for my children and honestly can't complain, got a gp appointment for out of hours in a short time.

The 101 questions are slightly annoying but understandable.

I can't fault them. On one occasion I called just before 10pm. They got me an appointment with an out of hours Dr at the local mini hospital for 10.45pm. I was seen, diagnosed, sent to the local all night Boots to collect my prescription and I was home just before midnight. Thank you NHS!
