I'm watching Wonka in 4K with all the extras, they charge more to download it than owning it

Yeah I do, physical media isn’t dead. A lot of movies and music are not on steaming services or on them permanently

Me. Films/TV shows on streaming can be removed at any time and never seen again. Plus you get bonus features, which I always work through.

I have about 50 DVD in the cupboard. Watched Kill Bill 2 last night, then the bonus features of the concert. Worth it just for that

Can you tell difference between blu ray and DVDs.

Just whenever anyone says this is better I’m usually, ‘can’t see it’ sort of thing.

The picture for blu ray is similar to that of dvd.

But it's the Audio files that's the huge step change. The audio is much higher quality and less compressed! That's why streaming movies doesn't sound as crisp as the spinning discs.

I have dvd’s, never had the scatalite tv thing, only the old 4 channels and dvd’s. Haven’t had the 4 channels for over 10 years now.

"Me! I like to own my entertainment not rent it from a global company. "

So you buy from a global company instead, how is that different?

I have loads of DVD's, Blu's and 4K discs and a nice setup to watch them on. Have always preferred physical media as once I bought them, they're mine and don't have to worry subscriptions...
