Is it cheating to cheat at cheat

So we were playing cheat last and when certain songs came on (Slayer, Macc Lads) we all joined hands closed our eyes and had a little spiritual moment.

During this time I noticed people taking the opportunity to lose a few cards, on the pack or in plant pots. I also spotted someone saying 2 8’s and putting 4 cards down.

Is this ethical ?

I’d say this is absolutely in the spirit of the game and exactly what I’ve always done. It’s on your co-players to keep a keen eye otherwise I’ll palm off 18 cards as 3 sevens

Apart from stashing cards outside the game ie plant pots, that’s not cool.
