Anyone had one?

How long did it take for the pain to stop?

I don’t think it was broken, possibly just bruised but I didn’t get it checked out. It’s been almost 3 weeks and still hurts to sit down

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I did mine years ago, and I still get pain occasionally. Make sure you’re being careful with it now to allow for the best possible healing. Get a doughnut cushion to sit on, take arnica and other anti-inflammatories.

Best of luck, hope it heals quickly and isn’t like mine.

That doesn’t sound good

Not sure what arnica is, I’ll look into it.

I also have plantar fasciitis so between the pain in my foot and the pain in my ass, I’m not doing good lol.

Paper Town Central, Essex.

After a climbing incident I ended up with a damaged L3, L4 injury as well as a fractured Coccyx.

It took months to improve.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

However, heat then cool will alleviate the symptoms.

Ibuprofen will also help.

In fact, I would recommend a pea of deep heat and a pea of ibuleve gel mixed and gently massaged over the affected area.

Sitting semi reclined will also take the pressure off.

Don't put off gentle walking. This puts virtually no pressure on the Coccyx and keeps the muscles in the surrounding areas healthy.

Try to lie on your tummy with a cushion to slightly raise your hips. Again, this will take any pressure off.

Above all. Try to relax.

Easier said than done, I know.

Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery.

XOXO

Thank you, I appreciate the reply.

When im at my desk I have to sit leaning forward rather than recline as that takes the pressure off my butt. I find driving very uncomfortable so can’t really drive far.

La la land

I broke mine giving birth. As H.C. said above a doughnut cushion to elevate the pressure will help. And I found generally not sitting for long periods of time helped.

I don’t really want to upset you. But mine took about 6 months to not be felt anymore.
