Usually, the cables run directly up or down from a switch or socket - though occasionally they go a little awry.

If everything switched to digital (years ago), why does it still get signal and digital channels and why did I cut it off in a moment of 'nah its not doing anything', leaving me with only one broadband option to no doubt go down.
