My own little world

So how young is to young to you all ? Like what sort of age gap.

I only ask as someone recently I'm connected with really wants to meet and have a wee night together just I'm 11 years older than her wich I have stressed to her however says age isn't important I'm still on the fence myself.

So go on fabbers how much of a gap could you do ?

Where the flamboyance of flamingos live

My husband of 20 yrs was 18 years my senior.

In terms of younger I’m not interested in anyone younger than my adult child, it just wouldn’t seem right to me.

10 but even that might feel like pushing it.

But if she’s ok with the 11 year gap and you are what’s the problem? Go for it.

I won't go below my lower age filter which is 42 but even that is a stretch as I've never been with anyone more than 10 years below my own age and never with anyone older than me so it's actually a very narrow gap.

We set the minimum at 25. There was probably a science behind it but there we are.

Women? Probably no more than (quickly works it out) six years. Men? Gosh. Erm... I'd say anyone younger than me would be too young but now it really depends on their emotional intelligence and attitude. Let's say six as well, fuck it.

10 years younger and 5 years over as a general rule, the upper limit is fluid in clubs though.

Not really got an age limit.. personality matters to us more.. if they're on our wavelength, and mature, does age really matter?

I have sex with anyone over the legal age of consent as long as it can be verified and they are into having sex with me.

I've met guys 20 years younger than me, that's pretty much my limit. I don't usually meet anyone older.

"We set the minimum at 25. There was probably a science behind it but there we are. "

That’s also my absolutely hard limit.

The science says that young peoples brains don’t finish developing until their mid twenties - crucially the parts responsible for long-term decision making, understanding consequences, and critical thinking and reasoning.

I'm fine with 20 years younger but only if he's mature, has the right personality and fit

Depends on what you are after.

Some young people are very mature. So take it on a case by case basis.

Whatever you personally feel comfortable with.

This is so valid!

I feel this way too, mid 20's absolute minimum because of the same reason.

Personality and emotional intelligence are more important than age though, I'd go higher than I would lower.

I all ways thought half your age plus 7

Ie 60 year no one under 37

50 year no one under 32

Hopefully keep you away from anyone same age as your own kids .

That rule was actually developed as the MAXIMUM age of woman that an aristocratic man should marry.

My friendly couple are ten years younger than me, which at our age is neither here nor there. I'm also sharing virtual meetings with a view to a physical meet with a couple who are twenty years younger than me which is a bit of a surprise to me, but if they're happy, it's fine.

I think if you're both attracted to each other and want to go for it, do it.

I personally wouldn't go below 35/36, but I'm a fair bit older than you op.

Cheers everyone for their thoughts

We both discussed before hand that we ain't after a relationship or anything along them lines and the lady in question is super attractive like out my league attractive wich possibly is another reason I'm debating it. Just don't want be seen as creepy for getting into someone so young i guess.
