Wherever I lay my hat

I was a bit grumpy yesterday so here's a light hearted thread.

On Saturday lunchtime I went to a local supermarket and found a man asleep on a shelf cradling his basket of goods. I've just come back from a different supermarket where a guy was doing his shopping with a snake draped around him (and no it wasn't Big Harold - it was an an actual, live snake!).

What is the strangest thing you have seen whilst buying your groceries?

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’ve seen quite a few folks in slippers and pyjamas but never a snake yet I am jealous!

Reading

People touching all the rolls and putting them back in the basket not to buy any they’d just handled.

Best one was some mum letting her kid pick up foods from the fridge section, lick and replace.

I've seen a shoplifter trying to escape in a store in the States just as a member of staff who was easily 7 foot tall and built like a WWE wrestler happily pushing a long line of trollies back through the main door.

I knew what would happen and there was no way the thief was getting passed this guy.

I was completely wrong.

The big guy continued what he was doing while singing a Disney song and out of nowhere the smallest security guard I've ever seen appeared and clotheslined the guy.

She wasn't even 5 feet tall but she jumped in the air and wiped him out before flipping him face down and securing his hands with cable ties.

As she was walking away with him the WWE guy turned to me and said " you've just witnessed our rottweiler in action. Nothing ever gets passed her!"

Once....... A few months ago .... I know you won't believe this but I went into ASDA and there were some workers stacking shelves without shouting at each other, telling jokes and stories about d*unken exploits and some of them even smiled and spoke to customers and went to assist without humphin aloud......

True story .... honest

That's pretty near impossible.

All over

People squeezing the bread and cakes with their hands then pick another one or walk away. Disgusting

I once saw someone try to do that thing where they ride the shopping trolley by running up and jumping off their feet. It must've had a bum wheel though they went crashing into the side of the shelves

Licking?? That is taking try before you buy too far. I'm not one for unnecessary touching.

I have also seen a family eating one of those rotisseie chickens whilst they did the weekly shop!

A couple of months ago I was behind a man in a queue, he pulled a load of change out of his pocket, handed it to the woman behind the till and said, sorry, its all stuck together I think its jam.

Oh, and there was that one time a woman was rollerskating around Tesco topless, with security chasing her!

I hope it was jam

OMG if anyone can top the topless rollerskater then I will streak round my local Tesco Express. That is awesome and I think we have our winner!
