If you knew your next relationship would be wonderful, but they are only looking for something short term, would you take it?

I can’t think of a situation as to when I’d only be looking for short term or only looking for long term.

All relationships are great, I don’t care how long they last.

Have you not seen the options on swiping apps?

If your happy for it to be short term then yes, if your hoping they'll change their minds then it would be a no (for me personally)

Yes. Nothing lasts, does it? I think I'd rather have someone's light in my life for a short period than not at all.

SOMEWHERE IN AFRICA

Why would it be short term? Work, holiday fling, health, age etc. None of those would stop me from living in the moment and enjoying my time with that person.

I only use Feeld really. I don’t think it has a long/short term option.

No Woody, sadly not. So why not seize those opportunities whilst you can? Say yes to the happiness, live mindfully without thinking about what comes next.

I will never, ever regret a wonderful relationship, however long it lasts. I might if it's crap, no I definitely will.

So, yes. I'd always go for it.

No relationship lasts forever. I'd rather enjoy a short time with someone that makes my heart smile than not have them in my life at all.

JadedCouga - I’m trying to find the words to explain how gutted I am to be outside your preferred age range. This kind of age discrimination is surely a breach of my human rights - if I were to identify as a 30 year old with a massive cock would that help?

I could get hit by a bus tomorrow. So they short term would be relatively more meaningful. Allowing for natural cell atrophy, cognitive decline, any my having the attention span of a love island costume designer, short would work given it could be relatively longer.

I've never entered any relationship with a preconceived notion of how long it would last.

It's beyond my control after all, unless it's my decision to end it.

This seems reasonable.

As long as both people went in knowing each others expectations, then yeah.

Communication is key.

Narp. If someone is only looking for short term it says to me that, even if things went well, they’re not interested in committing to a relationship. I’d want to know that, assuming everything developed well over time and with no agenda or pressure, a relationship could develop into something truly meaningful.

If they are only looking for something short term then its utterly meaningless and pointless. Far too many people are kidding themselves that they can change people and make them want something meaningful when in reality they can’t and will only lead to headache. Unless you are equipt for having your body used and then disguarded then in all honestly people are best off pleasuring themselves - that’s the reality
