Thursday Rant?

I've been reading a lot about "Thursday Rants" in the forum recently and something had been really bugging me on here recently (well a few things, but I'll just rant about one for now if that's okay) so I'm going to have a little rant, hope that's okay?

Anyway, I'm sick of seeing "this is a sex site, not a dating site"...no it's bloody not! It's a swinging site not a sex site. Swinging for me isn't just sex, it's a lifestyle and it's 80% social and 20% sex. If I was just looking for sex I'd use a sex site, but I'm here to meet like minded people that enjoy a swinging lifestyle.

This is part of the problem I see with all the "woe is me I can't get a meet" posts, if your just looking for sex you're on the wrong site and if more people realised that and didn't come thinking of FAB as a place purely to find a shag everyone would be slightly happier.

I know not everyone will share my _iews, but that's why I'm beginning to really enjoy the forums, because of the diversity of the _iews.

Anyway, rant over, happy swinging

I think you should post your other rants on this thread too. Let them out, you're on a roll.

As to your OP rant: most of the people I meet would say the social side is around 30% and the sex is 70% but they wouldn't be on here were it not for that 70%.

Hahahahaha I (Mr H) love a good rant. Usually in the mornings to start the day off. There is no point in starting the day with pent up frustration so you may aswell let it all out

It's not a lifestyle for us, it's just a bit of fun.

I wouldn't say it's a swingers site any more or less than a sex or dating site - like it or not it can only be what the users make it, and we see all of those on here.
