How'd you get on with him?

I still back the theory someone mentioned recently about him being Kate Middleton

"How'd you get on with him?"

We fell out. I used to have a big red balloon that I took everywhere with me. When we were out together he used to take the piss out of me for having a girls’ balloon and, one day when I lost my grip and it flew away, I admit I cried a little bit.

The next day I saw his graffiti in London.

Banksy is the opiate of the masses.

Or something.

I admire his balls. I don't think we'd get on too well, despite sharing some values. He'd probably dislike my loudness and crassness

We bicker sometimes when we've been in each others pockets for too long but I think that's quite normal. 98% of the time we get on brilliantly really.

I'm impressed you've seen his balls though!

I’d let him graffiti on my house - it’d quadruple its value!

Paper Town Central, Essex.

Isn't he Kilroys son?

Keep the graffiti in the family I say.

He did some work in Palestine a few years ago, I think. I hope it got to be saved, for the people, before the recent attacks

They recreated it here in the gallery in mall of the emirates, It’s very good. True Banksy style it was unofficial, done without his permission.

He also opened the fake hotel and restaurant right next to the West Bank wall, It was run by fake racists and bigots , It was a bit like his a dismal world, making a point but a bit out there….

its an interesting art project..... Banksy as a whole..... in fairness, the value of the law suits against him will forever far outweigh the value of his art....... which he holds no actual legal claim to by default...... would be like me painting your garden wall and then sending you a bill..... not to mention, there are a lot of people who aren't fans of his work, due to the ensuing affect it has on the property prices of the areas he has carelessly installed it..... people whose families lived there generations, no longer able to afford to buy there, because his work lead to prices rising due to fans moving into the area and pushing up prices..... also, his explanation of how he came to the use of stencils for increasing speed of work placement, by hiding under a train carriage, is questionable, because the technique has been used by a French female graffiti artist (iirc) publicly, and before he became so mainstream.... the question for me is, is Banksy the tag name of an elusive solo artist protecting their identity for legal reasons, or is the very concept of such a figure and the ensuing infamy and public interest that has become what it is today, the art itself. Is Banksy an artist, or is Banksy the art......

by the big field

I like his music more than his graffiti- although it’s more are art than graffiti due to the direct political messages of it.

Can’t remember the last time I saw some proper, decent graffiti instead of just a scrawl or tag by some knuckle dragging scrote with minimal artist talent
