"Friday (Chris Tucker and Ice Cube) always has us wetting ourselves laughing

"

One of my all time fav films

If i had to recommend one it would have to be

The Raid, simply for the truly stunning fight scenes and that it was made by a welsh guy on a budget with no big names yet it smashes some of the hollywood action blockbusters to pieces

From Oscar winning director Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island with Leonardo DiCapri who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island fortress like hospital for the criminally insane.

This film was very strange and i nomaly can work out things ... this and lost on TV... both had me ... lol weird but 5 stars from me .

Not because its my favourite film but because I can attempt to cover three, yes three! current threads in one post!

'Eraser Head' = film

"You bawl like the baby in Eraser Head" - 'Too D*unk to Fuck' by The Dead Kennedys = Most remembered lyrics and great American songwriters!

Some strange choices, can't believe nobody has mentioned things like Shawshank Redemption or Leon.

Being a music lover that was born a good 30 years too late tho, I'd have to go for Almost Famous. Absolutely brilliant. Penny Lane is one of my favourite female characters from any film

I believe those films aren't "overlooked classics" they are on a lot of people's top five films ( like mine!)
