I should be working but had my pupils dilated at the opticians earlier and I can't see properly

Sat indoors with sunglasses on, attempting to decipher stuff. I look like a complete dick

Oh no. Was that for a retina eye scan? I have one done once a year as diabetic, and it takes a couple of hours for my vision to return to normal. Hope it wears off soon for you

It was to examine the back of my eyes because I have a bunch of issues going on. Chronic dry eye probably due to something autoimmune and all the ducts that secrete lubricating oils are blocked. It was more of a precaution to check there's nothing more sinister. I'm fine, ensconced in a café, wearing dark glasses and looking mysterious
