Why do people feel it acceptable to send a friend request with zero prior interaction. If I wanted to share my friends only with strangers then they’d be public!!

Fuck knows. I moved all my friends only media to public thinking it might stop the random requests that I don't bother looking at and just delete periodically. I've had 177 new requests since my last bulk delete 36 hours ago

If you just leave them pending they can’t send another

Or you can do the sneaky trick

Witch is leave it pending till they go off line accept it brows they frends only and delete before they back on

It will just look like you have not accepted it as there is no notification or anything to say you accept it

Ummm.... If you delete them, they can send you a new request... Whereas if you just ignore them, they can't send another request x

I actually went through a phase of accepting the requests, but I hid my pics, just to see if they person messages. They didn't, which I knew they wouldn't. So everyone got blocked

They may send hundreds of requests a day, as it just takes a couple of seconds to do, for each request.

In a way, friends requests are too easy to do

I'm not sure what to do when that happens, sending them a message that I've sent a friend request by accident is prolly even more embarrassing

This is why I exchange face pics within the first couple of messages that way you can openly communicate and say it’s been lovely chatting but you’re not my type, good luck with what you’re looking for! But there is a distinct lack of human decency a lot of the time!
