aka not so serious Monday musings.

You know them ones - you got on well, met a couple of times, messaged here and there and then you never hear from them again. Not a big deal, no hard feelings, you move on and if you’re like me - I don’t really need a closure.

Months or years have passed and suddenly, out of the blue, you get a “Hey”

You know them ones, right?

Why do you think they reasons are?

I have two:

First one - they got into some kind of relationship and now out (and about).

Second one - they’ve completed the Fab cycle and now back to square one.

I look forward to hearing what you think.

P. S. This is a completely hypothetical situation and never happened to OP

I think it's because they hope you'll be a sure thing , even if it's been 5,10 years.

I used to meet someone when I was single, so 9 years ish.

He messaged not that long ago wanting a repeat.

I'm only meeting socially at min (if at all) and it was clear that wasn't what he wanted, he kept nagging and I blocked him.

There's a fair bit of entitled behaviour, ie well we've met and had sex before, so I expect it again.

I used to have a profile that got in touch to say she loved my pics and bio and asked where I had been hiding as she had never seen me before.

My response was always that I was hiding in plain site.

She would disappear just as swiftly and 6 months later send exactly the same message.

She did this 3 or 4 times and I decided it was a wind up because she was very well verified and she couldn't have been that dumb.
