An undercover British Army spy called Stakeknife operated within the IRA in the 70s troubles and a report uncovers that although he undoubtedly saved lives much of his intelligence was not acted upon and so many more lives were lost than he saved. This was so to not compromise his undercover role as a senior within the IRA. Spying is a dirty game and black art but what a wonderful name for a spy. Stakeknife.
