Ideally a Ford GT40 but when the opportunity arose I was too tall to get into the car so will settle for Jaguar D type.

Surely that's half the fun? I drove a 1960s Fiat 500 around the mountains in Sicily and it was like trying to negotiate a white water course in a pedalo. And also possibly the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel.

Ah, no. You’re missing the point there. A classic Fiat 500 is great fun to drive! Most US muscle cars aren’t.

You have to be to get on a bike in the first place.

I've driven a car at 155mph, and ridden a bike at 165mph.

I felt safer on the bike.

Tough choice!

I loved KITT and The A-Team when I was a kid, but I absolutely adore classic American cars, so I'll take Christine for a spin.

At 170 motorways become fun, they have corners instead of bends.
