Males with Anorexia/any ED? What do people assume about them? And before anybody says it, it isn't about seeing yourself as fat. Silly/misleading how that point is so widespread, although for some people it is the case.

I didn't realise that men were stigmatised for eating disorders more than women ....worth thinking about.

Mental illness has massive stigma attached to it although that is starting to change very slowly but I think it will be a long time before any of them are accepted in the same way physical illness is whether the sufferer is male or female.

Both anorexia and erectile dysfunction should not be stigmatised. Eating disorders in teenage boys are on the increase.
