Most people that I’m close to know that I live an alternative kind of lifestyle. It doesn’t really bother people, if anything some people find it quite interesting.

I’m kinda new here so I suppose it’s more about who do I bounce stuff off. I’ve made “kinda friends” here but I wouldnt trust them. And the people I would trust are not on fab so I can’t ask them

One particular friend gave off very strong hints that her and her ex were swingers. Apart from her I don't tend to discuss my sex life with my friends

All my close friends know, my daughter knows. I genuinely don't understand what all the fuss is about ! It's just sex people ! People are going to judge you no matter what you do ! You may as well be having fun !

These forums can be trustworthy as a sounding board for any questions, doubts etc. They're relatively anonymous and most people are happy to exchange ideas and experiences

I've mentioned it somewhat to one or two close friends not on the scene & they were intrigued & non judgmental. I suppose there are a lot of verifiable's involved to concur a straight answer. My children know but not my extended family. We still live in a very judgmental society unfortunately & telling people can impact work or relationships/friendships. I'm very lucky to have made very close friends on the scene who are now "real life" besties so I'm content with that. Live & let live is my motto

I’ve talked about fab to people that know I’m poly.

I’ve talked about being poly to vanilla friends/ work colleagues etc. the ‘I couldn’t do it’ is funny

but it’s mostly just questions. I usually only tell people if I have to or if I think we’re friends.
